RESOURCE PERSON:
K. M. Sunjib Anwar was Manager-Supply
Chain Security in Wal-Mart, Bangladesh. He was responsible for the Wal*Mart fty's
of Bangladesh and Indonesia for auditing, preparing and educating for GSV/C-TPAT.
He visited around hundreds of fty's which includes electronics, furniture, garments,
textile, leather, ceramics etc. He received professional trainings from Banglore,India
(1) Global Procurement Security, (2) Supply Chain Security(C-TPAT) which was contacted
by Wal*Mart, USA and Intertek, Singapore. Beside his above professional training
he also achieved certificate on 'Industrial Health, Safety & Security and Security
Management & Protection'. He is a management consultant to different buying houses
and garments factories and assist fty's to develop GSV/C-TPAT functions.
Prior to
joining to Wal*Mart, Mr. Sunjib worked with various reputed Security Organizations
at senior level. Mr. Sunjib also had a stint at the Bangladesh Military Academy.

to ensure the continuation of safe global free trade. An effective supply chain
security program has a great impact in several areas by reducing cargo theft, preventing
the transportation of unintended cargo of illegal drugs, human smuggling and weapons
of mass destruction and thus protecting our most important assets, our associates,
